Q: Does anyone meet us at the beginning?
A: Yes, a field officer of the day will be there to meet you

Q: What time should I arrive?
A: All appointments are set for 20:00 although this is not indicative of the actual time of sunset for your march. This appointment time is simply a place-holder. For sunset times, google “Fort Liberty sunset time for Day/Month/Year” and your top search result will reflect the sunset time for your specified date/location. Please arrive at the trail 30 minutes prior to your sunset time.

Q: Where do I park?
A: Parking lot off Honeycutt closest to the beginning of the march

Q: Where is the beginning of the march?
A: At the intersection of Honeycutt and Liberty Park

Q: What is the required dress code?
A: There is not a designated uniform, but please wear appropriate clothing

Q: Is the march difficult?
A: The 0.6 mile march towards the tribute location is an upward incline

Q:Is there a water source on site?
A: No, you are encouraged to bring your own water

Q: What about inclement weather?
A: The march will be done everyday regardless of weather

Q: Are there restrooms available?
A: No, nearest restroom will be at the gas station on Honeycutt

Q: How do I cancel if something comes up?
A: Once you confirm your date, you will get a confirmation email. You will also receive a link to cancel if needed

Q: Who can take part?
A: Anyone, i.e., Gold Star Families, Veterans, Active duty Soldiers, Families members

Q: What is the minimum age to register?
A: Should be 18 to register with no age limit to participate; children need to be escorted by an adult

Q: What does the route look like?
A: The route is .6 mile on cemented terrain straight with no turns

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes, as long as your furry friend is leashed for the whole duration of the event

Q: Directions – how do I know where to go during the march
A: All routes are clearly marked

Q: Do I need to finish the whole march?
A: No. Your health and safety is our highest priority. Dial 911 in case of a severe emergency

Q: What to bring?
A: Your ID or visitor pass to give you access to post
